Remember us from Stony Lane? I know we keep close contact with Steve, but not you guys. Anyhow, we have lurked at your and your wife's blogs off and on, and keep updated through your bro. Was reading Anti-Racist Parent blogs tonight, and found a comment by you on one of the posts. Was checking them out since they requested permission to publish one of my blog posts on their site. (P) What do you think of that? We were surprised by the request, so did not know what to even think of it. Do you read them or know much about them?
Oh yeah... does our email come up here when you get a comment? (I had to put it in) You could drop us a line and let us know what you think if you have the time. Thanks. Or just post another comment here. We'll check back.
Actually, I'm the culprit. Steve told me about your blog, and I've been following it a little. That particular post seemed to be very much in the spirit of the point of that blog and what I like about it, so I recommended it for them possibly to link to you, and Carmen absolutely loved it. I didn't expect her to want to post the whole thing, but that's what she told me she was going to ask you about.
I don't agree with everything all the contributors say there, but I'm in agreement with the general spirit of it, and it's a good source of information about race issues, even if I'm going to disagree with most of the contributors pretty often on political issues.
The email address you submit is not publicly viewable. The main reason my blog software requires it is because it's a slight deterrent to spam.
