Democratic candidates' D&D characters

This is the absolutely funniest thing I've seen in a long, long time. Discoshaman lists some highlights, though I don't think he picked all the funniest ones. It's not just that it's brilliant. It's obvious this guy spent a long time working on this.

Hi there!

I'm curious, how is the LoTR Risk game? Does it differ from regular Risk in the rules, or is it more of a cosmetic change?

There are a number of rules they add or revise to make it less chancy, more Middle-Earthy, and especially more strategic. You have points, and the game ends after a certain timing feature runs out, though you can't predict exactly which turn it will end. There are also mission cards to carry out, and some elements that affect your dice results. You can play it with something like the classic RISK rules, but that's not the default rules. I think it's much better than the original rules. Follow the link in my right-hand column to see the reviews of the game if you want details. That site is very informative.

I spent most of my teen-age weekends playing D&D, even though I did have a car (no girlfreind, though). I had quite the series of guffaws reading those characters. Brilliant, brilliant.
